By serving the community through efforts such as the Prop 1 Campaign in University Place to endorse public safety, as well as working to increase access to food affordability by starting a food pantry, Melanie is passionate about creating and operating programs that serve local families across Pierce County.
As a widowed mother to two amazing children, Rosary and Giovanni, Melanie's newest endeavor includes providing resources and lifelines to new widows through her nonprofit, Miracle A Day Inc.
